A couple of days ago Egyptian authorities were successful into shutting down all internet access in Egypt. The shutdown cause 90 percent drop in data traffic to and from Egypt. A cell phone provider named Vodafone with 28 million subscribers in Egypt was basically forced to shut down all mobile operators in Egypt. Can you imagine not having internet access or cell phone usage in this day in time?

I have no idea how their internet use compares to ours but I feel like it's a great deal less. That being said, I believe some people here in the states would believe the world is coming to an end. For all I know, I may be one of them.

ReplyDeleteJust think of how many businesses rely on the internet. Not only is the private sector experiencing a blast from the past, but most modern businesses should be severely handicapped.
